Duncanville ISD third and fourth grade students used their artistic skills to help create a calendar for the Duncanville Fire Department. The students entered posters they designed in a contest sponsored by the fire department to raise awareness for Fire Prevention Week, October 10-14. This year’s Fire Prevention theme is “Don’t Wait – Check the Date! Replace Smoke Alarms Every 10 Years.” The winning students will have their artwork displayed in the 2017 Duncanville Fire Department safety tip calendar.
The 2017 calendars are available for purchase for $10 at either of the Duncanville fire stations. All proceeds benefit the Parkland Burn Camp. View photos.
