Duncanville High School invited ASA entertainment to bring its message to campus Friday, November 6 to help combat what has become a national problem: bullying. The stars of X Games skateboarding, inline skating and BMX riding set up their half-pipe ramp in the senior parking lot by Sandra Meadows Arena and performed gravity-defying tricks. The show’s high energy held the teenagers’ attention while the announcer talked to students about the types of bullying and how it has increased in recent years because of the emergence of social media.
ASA Entertainment partners with the U.S. Marines and the Anti-Defamation League to tour the country speaking to students about the importance of kindness. The program is sponsored, so it’s free to partnering high schools.
