Virtue of the Month: Compassion

During the month of February, we focus on Compassion as our monthly character trait.  We hope they will find at least one way to show empathy and compassion each day.  Save the date for our next event, the Valentine Sock Hop - Thursday, Feb. 16th.  The week of Feb. 6-10 is National Counselor’s week at Smith, to focus public attention on the unique contribution of professional school counselors within U.S. school systems.  Smith Elementary is so fortunate to have Ms. Sunshine as our school counselor.  I hope you’ll join me us showing our appreciation during that week!
