Important Reminders from Mrs. Echols

HELLO Smith Elementary Families,

This is a message from Smith Elementary Principal, Vickie Echols, keeping you informed with a weekly message, which will come out  every Monday night.  Our first week of school was wonderful - a little wet with all the rain - but wonderful because we saw your children smiles.

We hope you saw the message from Assistant Principal, Tiffany Littlejohn, which came out last Friday:

We really appreciate your trust in us to do what is in the best interest for the students we serve every day. With this in mind, and in an effort to maintain safety and security at Smith Elementary, we are moving to our normal morning routine beginning Monday, August 29th. If you wish to walk your child into the building, you will come to the office, sign in, and hand us your driver's license in exchange for a green visitor's sticker. This type of check-in will take place between 7:30 AM and 8:00 AM.

Thank you so much for partnering with us as we grow great leaders and learners! If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me. Have a great weekend.

Important Reminders

·         Labor Day Holiday for all, Monday, Sept. 5, 2016.

·         Remember our jingle to chant with your kids: 7:45 - time to arrive / 8:00 - time to rock!  The building is open and breakfast is available at 7:30am if you bring them earlier.

Planning Ahead
