Campus Staff Gathering to Learn at the IDEA Hub

PEIMS and Students Services recently paired up to update staff on legal requirements for the Student Code of Conduct and PEIMS reporting. 
The two departments have began the collaboration process for fine tuning district procedures related to legal requirements for students and reporting. Both Michelle Anderson (Manager of Information Systems) and Ed Marcel (Director of Student Services) met with both Assistant Principals and campus clerks to  notify them of these processes. Topics such as Discipline Data Diving (HB 2398), Due Process and New Truancy laws were just a few topics on the agenda. 
The departments look forward to conducting at least two more training updates this year.
