  • Choir Image   Choir Spring Show - 70's Soulfest

     

    Please join us on Tuesday, May 2, for the Daniel Choir's annual Spring Show. The program is 70's Soulfest and will include songs originally performed by Earth, Wind and Fire, Rose Royce, The Emotions, and more. Fifth and sixth grade students will be performing under the direction of Ms. DarMiesha Allen.

     

    The performance will be held in the Daniel Intermediate Cafeteria at 6:30 p.m. and is free of charge.

  • STAAR Testing - May 8-11

     

    Daniel students will be taking STAAR tests on May 8, 9 and 10. The entire campus will be on a testing schedule on these days. Please do not schedule medical or dental appointment during these dates. Also, please be aware that:

    • Visitors for 5th and 6th grade students will NOT be allowed on campus for classroom observations or to have lunch with students.
    • Lucn time will vary from the regular lunch schedule.
    • A regular lunch will be offered in the cafeteria each day.
    • If you need to provide a lunch for your child, we ask that you please deliver it to the campus office before 10:45 a.m. and it will be delivered to your child during their lunch time.
    • Please ensure your child has a good night's rest and a healthy breakfast. FREE breakfast is provied every morning at our campus throughout the year. 

     

    The testing schedule is as follows:

    Monday, May 8 - 6th Grade Mathematics and 5th Grade Mathematics Retest
    Tuesday, May 9 - 6th Grade Reading and 5th Grade Reading Retest
    Wednesday, May 10 - 5th Grade Science
    Thursday, May 11 - Makeup testing for students absent May 8-10

School History

  • Daniel

     

    H. Bob Daniel Intermediate opened in 1988, and was renovated in 2004.  The school was named for former school board member H. Bob Daniel.  The school serves grades 5-6.

     

    H. Bob Daniel, Sr.

    Henry Bob Daniel, Sr. was born on his pioneer family’s farm in the Duncanville area in 1914. He attended Duncanville School and graduated from Lancaster HS in 1933. Active in the community, he served on the Duncanville ISD school board from 1949 to 1955.
