¡Bienvenidos! Duncanville High School 2017-2018

I am pleased to be your Spanish 1 teacher this year.  I am here to serve and support all my students in order to have a very successful school year.

I am a native from Mexico City, and I am very proud to teach my language and my culture. I obtained my Bachelors in Criminal Justice from Texas Woman's University and I have a Masters in Education with an emphasis in Dual Language from the University of Texas in Arlington.

Living in different countries and learning their languages, has given me a better understanding of the process of teaching a foreign language.  I take advantage of my personal experience in order to implement my teaching methods.

I understand that every student has different strengths and weaknesses in their learning process.  Therefore I am committed to having differentiated instruction in my class with a variety of opportunities for my students to achieve their goals. Learning a language involves perseverance, repetitionconstant work, and memorization skills.  I am positive that we can reach our goals this year.

I am looking forward to a great school year! Please do not hesitate to contact me.

¡Muchas Gracias!
